Sandgrouse Desert Water Flight

A flock of sandgrouse launches from the nesting grounds at dawn and must hold together across open desert to reach the only waterhole for many kilometres. Crosswind scrambles the formation; only a well-oriented flock corrects its heading fast enough to arrive as a group.
