This simulation demonstrates the technology behind self-organizing structure: a voxel colony in which every cell runs an identical tiny neural network, perceives only its immediate neighbours, and updates its own state — no cell ever sees the whole shape, yet a coherent target structure reliably emerges. Pick a target (sphere, cross, tower, ring), tune the alive threshold and perception radius, and watch a single seed cell bootstrap an entire organized structure purely from local rules — then damage it mid-growth to see the same rule regrow what was lost, exactly the self-repair behaviour that makes Growing Neural Cellular Automata a genuine model of emergent, decentralized development.
