This simulation demonstrates how IoT devices generate data and how that data is analyzed to gain insights in real time. A ring of sensor nodes transmits noisy readings to a central analytics hub on a fixed interval; the hub maintains a live exponentially-weighted mean and standard deviation for each node and flags any reading whose z-score crosses a threshold as an anomaly, mirroring the streaming-analytics pipelines used in real industrial IoT deployments. Tune the fleet size, report interval, EWMA smoothing factor and anomaly threshold, watch packets travel across the network in 3D, and inject a deliberate spike to see the detector catch it live.
