How it works

Each collaborator is a point in a 3D "idea space". A fixed landscape of hidden Gaussian peaks represents pockets of genuinely strong ideas for the brainstorm topic; a point's height is its idea quality:

quality(p) = Σ_k A_k · exp(−|p − c_k|² / 2σ²)

Every frame each collaborator updates a velocity, exactly like a particle-swarm search, but here the three terms map onto real teamwork behaviours:

Communication strength — how strongly everyone is pulled toward the current best idea anyone on the team has found (the shared vision). High values converge fast but risk premature groupthink on the first idea found.
Creative diversity — random exploration unrelated to the landscape, modelling individual divergent thinking. Too low and the team gets stuck on a mediocre local peak; too high and it never settles on anything.
Consensus — the fraction of the team currently within "listening range" of the shared-vision holder (the lines drawn between nearby collaborators are the live communication network).
New Brainstorm Topic — reseeds the hidden idea landscape, simulating a fresh problem with unknown good answers, and resets memory.

This is the same linear-consensus / particle-swarm mathematics used to model flocking and distributed optimisation, applied here to the classic organisational-creativity trade-off between alignment and independent thinking.
