This simulation demonstrates the integration of artificial intelligence within communication systems, focusing specifically on AI-powered network management and intelligent routing. A ten-node mesh network runs live packet traffic in 3D; each link's cost combines physical distance, real-time concurrency-based congestion, and occasional injected spikes. Switch between AI-adaptive routing — which learns per-edge latency estimates on the fly with an exponential moving average and reroutes around trouble — and classic static shortest-path routing, which only ever sees fixed distances. Trigger a congestion spike and watch the two strategies diverge in average latency, throughput and packet loss.
