Food safety in the cold chain comes down to one relationship: temperature controls how fast bacteria multiply. This simulator renders a refrigerated food sample in 3D and grows a real bacterial population on it using the Ratkowsky square-root model, the same temperature–growth-rate relationship used in commercial predictive-microbiology software. Set the storage temperature, trigger a door-open cold-chain breach, switch between pathogen and spoilage-organism profiles, and watch the population, growth rate and safety status respond in real time as visible contamination spreads across the sample.
