Orbital Station-Keeping: Drag Decay & Reboost (2D)

This 2D companion runs the same station-keeping cycle as the 3D version through a top-down orbit view and a live altitude-vs-time strip chart: atmospheric drag is computed every simulated step from a real exponential density model and the King-Hele altitude-decay equation, the station's orbit visibly shrinks as it loses energy, and once altitude crosses your reboost-trigger threshold an automatic thruster burn — sized by the Δv slider — kicks the orbit back up, exactly like the periodic reboosts that keep the real ISS from decaying into the atmosphere. Ballistic coefficient, solar activity, reboost threshold, burn size and time scale are all independently adjustable, and a running fuel-budget readout shows the real cost of keeping a station up.
